Don't know (poem)

Don't know why
Suddenly
my breath

vanished

or, more accurately
I had forgotten how

and consequently, my voice became that of
Donald Duck. On Helium
So I refrained from saying too much

My focus on survival anyhow

(Inhale)
Funny, that. Nerves stop you breathing
(Exhale)
And not breathing sure makes you nervous

Hehe,
very true indeed.
I think you are cathcing something quite relevant in this poem, about general anxiety, having been breathless on various occasions myself ;)

I've read it a couple of times now... and I am not quite sure why some of the lines are broken the way they are, but that might just be me?

Hey, thanks! :)
A friend also commented on the way the lines were broken. I think they are that way because I had to stop often for air, pausing even my thoughts.

Keep passing the open windows!
